Default Anyone have an GC Style stock cat pipe they'd like to part with?

I'm wondering if anyone has one they'd like to part with for free. I'm comtemplating putting together cat pipe ala random tech, but with the Pipercub style FauxCats (tm) . Living in PA, sans emmisions, has it's advantages.

I want a stock one to build a jig around so the new one, that I would, build will fit. I could go to Octagon but they'll charge me, and I don't want the mod that bad.

Anyone?

thanks
Bob

The pipe that has the two cats in it. Not sure what you would call that, I call it the "cat pipe" Goes in between the header and the midpipe (midpipe being connected to the rear exhaust section and the cat pipe).

Bob- I think you are talking about the "power restricting pipe section"....
I have the Cat's cut out of my stock one if you want those... haha... I also have a flex-section that you can buy from me if you are interested.. it would help with stress. i think Steve has a cat section, not sure tho..

So are you running cat less as well? Did you simply cut out the stock cats and have tube welded in their place? Or did you have hi-flow's put in?

Or perhaps are you another customer of Pipercub's Non-Restrictive FauxCats (tm)?

IIRC (which I may not) the stock pipe has no flex joint, so the new pipe should not require it, either.

I really need the the whole peice. Though the I might want the stock cats for the housings. I plan to assemble the cat pipe with the old headers and the midpipe, and build a welding jig around them. I'll cut and tack the pipe at my house and then take them in to work to get TIG'd.

Bob- I replaced my cat section with a up-pipe, Garret T3/4, and a down-pipe
like I said, ask Steve, I swear he has a few....

Ah ha, that would explain it. I didn't think the piping was that convlouted and would have used the stock cat pipe.

I drop Steve-O a PM to see what he has.
