**** like this scares me. That's why I park in the back corner of the lot. even if I have to walk a half mile. BUT its all good cuz on the walk back I get to stare at my car. Unless some asshats like "oh look a car in the back of the parking lot all alone let me park next to it and keep it company!" HOW ABOUT NOOOOO

Yup. Ditched the roof rack route (but bought OEM bars for aesthetic) and went hitch mount for everything. Drawtite Class 1 Hitch, Yakima Big Horn Bike Rack, and Yakima Hitchski for the winter. When there's nothing in the hitch, either the Zombie Apocalypse cover or I'm currently making a custom Ball Mount/Tow Shackle attached to it.

Very nice! Ive been contemplating this idea for a while. You had to remove the factory rear bumper beam, correct? Also did you have to modify the hitch at all as most of them are made for legacies and/or forresters?

Btw nice video Jourdan.

An alternative it is to just get the OEM Forester hitch, it's a direct replacement for the rear bumper beam, I think there's only one extra hole to drill in the trunk floor. Very clean looking, I only have one pic:

Right, let's see if the insomnia has worn off yet....

Does anyone know by chance if the Bilstein GTWorx Sport cup kit will fit on our NA's? I know they're meant for the WRX and up but just wanted to make sure before I purchase.

Nope not at all. I'm not sure about 2011's but for my 2009 hatchback, this was my installation process:

My Drawtite hitch is made specifically for the 2008-2010 hatchback with single exit exhaust.

+1. Nice 'n' smooth, clipping those apexes nicely.

Shameless plug time, if anyone is interested in any of the following, PM me. I'll be putting them up in the FS section soon:

Hybrid Intake, fabricated by Lachute Performance specifically for the 08-11 2.5i
Includes all couplers & vacuum hose/connections.

Chrome Hatch trim, includes release switch wiring
