I currently have the mothers step 2 haze and sealer (I think). Also, what will help with scratches, or am I screwed on that part? I do everything by hand, so what do you think I should use? If I were to get a porter cable or machine what should I get? Thanks. -Justin Last edited by xxxjuhstenxxx; 01-06-2008 at 04:12 AM. |

If you were to get a PC I would suggest some lake country ccs pads and Menzerna's starter kit or Menzerna Ultimate kit. http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...ROD&ProdID=205 http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...ROD&ProdID=206 |

What porter cable do you recommend? I don't mind spending the extra cash. I want something that will be able to take out imperfections as well as wax and polish? Thanks a ton!

there is really only one PC I would recommend...
http://www.detailersdomain.com/index...WPROD&ProdID=3 the one above matched up with a backing plate, 6.5 inch pads, counter weight. They are all the same it just depends on what you want to get with it. |

We got some warm weather here today so I decided to experiment with my new porter cable and adams detailing supplies.
I washed, clayed the whole car I used porter cable with orange pad with the adams haze and swirl remover Next I used the white pad with the adams revive polish Then I gave it a coat of adams Buttery wax with the gray finishing pad It came out really well, look at the before and after pics, any advice or tips are appreciated. BEFORE: you can see how swirled and scratched the paint is And heres a few after shots: |

Sears Buffer
I'm thinking about buying the 6" electrical orbital buffer at sears. Do you think that this will be more beneficial in getting rid of swirl marks than doing it by hand?
