alright guys i dont have time to really search in depth about this size. ive tryed to search and there are mixed information i need to know asap

ive ordered a set of 245/40/17 bfg g force sports for my WRX, connor at tire rack does not want to ship them untill im postively sure they will not rub so i need to know for sure from the 05 + wrx guys what minimum chamber i will need to run to asure that they will not rub

i do have front chamber plates on my megan racing coilover dampers and there only seems to be about 2.5 inches of travel at most on these as for i have them set very low only about 2.5 inches from the innerfender((less then a finger gap)) ( i will be raising them up to a resonable height with the new tires) and they have not touched once over big bumps and pot holes i will be mounting these tires on 17x8 (5x100) rota tourqes w/ 48 mm off set

in my mind i dont see any reson why these tires should rub, with about 1.5 neg chamber and about a 2 to 2 and half finger gap all around

thanks guys i really appreaciate your input and information

the proper height is around 14" from hub to fender lip that's where you should be.

roll the rear fenders and you should be ok.

You probably won't even have to roll the fenders. I barely rubbed with my 255's before slightly rolling the fenders. Now all better. What size and offset wheel are you putting them on?

it's always better going into it assuming you'll need to roll the fenders, and when it turns out you only need to roll them a little or none at all you're

(i'm not saying it wont rub, i'm saying assume it will b/c it might).
