Took this on my last run, you'll hear me comment about not hitting the last cone of the chicago box, and coming out of the pivot after crossing over to the lower lot it sounds like we're going fast until you realize that i flicked it into 1st gear!

I'm suprised at the agility of this car with real tires! I'd imagine a 2.5 GT would do fairly well in HS.

hells yes. Legacy wagons FTW. Looks like you had a really tight line. Quite a few times I thought you weren't quite going to squeeze past. How did you place?

I came in 27th out of 55 in PAX, 6th out of 13 in my class. I think my raw time was in the 40th place range.

Nice…!!!!

Have you taken any autox training courses offered by your local SCCA chapter or other orgs? One of the most valuable things I walked with from it was learning to unwind as you loose the plane of traction. From the video, you may be able to benefit from it too

No, i've just been a hack for 5 years or so. As for the traction thing, the car was never really so far out of traction that it was understeering or anything that i'd want to unwind.

I'm blessed/cursed with a 4EAT, so no.

The mount will set one back about $40 from racerpartswholesale.com

Manually put it in 1 to start, shift to 2 when it's apropriate, and leave it there. Unless you have a REALLY tight pivot like the ones i faced this past sunday, it'd be best to leave it in 2. It's just like a manual in that you get engine braking and about the same gear ratio.
