Default WTB: 3.0 H6 engine

looking for someone who sells or know where I can get a complete 3.0L EZ30. Not looking for a EZ30R but if one comes my way that would be cool. Thanks for any help in locating a Vendor. Later everyone. Also I live in Washington State in Oak Harbor so If there is someone near by that would be great too.

Aaron.

Gruppe-S in CA has one, only vendor I know of that has one. It is an EZ30R though.

No just a H6 swap into a 98 legacy GT (BD body style). My last engine shet the bed. Now I have a good chance to do something I've wanted to do for awhile. I plan on keeping it N/A though. That's why I wanted a EZ30 (not a EZ30R) just to keep the swap simple enough for me.

I want to build up the internals but I haven't found a place yet that sells parts for the H6.

I can get the EZ30 engine with the plastic intake manifold (EZ30R) if you are interested.

I'm really trying to find just the EZ30 not the EZ30R, but for curiosity how much is it?

might want to try the local salvage yards. They're bound to be a couple out there and you know there isn't going to be any demand for the engine from the typical consumer anytime soon.

Take a look at www.car-parts.com (search for a 2002 Legacy, it'll bring up the 3.0L as an option, and the search is smart enough to look for '01-04 cars/engines) and also www.uneedapart.com .

As for EZ30R (which is really the EZ30D) vs EZ30, if you've haven't already done so, make sure you read the very long thread about swapping an EZ30R into a GC Impreza. It's not an easy task. I'm thinkin' I'm gonna go the EZ30 route so I can use the factory ECU to make my life much simpler.
