Default Two questions: (1) putting '04 WRX seats into WRX TR (2) STi Seats Vs. WRX seats.

Two questions: (1) putting '04 WRX seats into WRX TR (2) STi Seats Vs. WRX seats.
Hey so I am trying to get rid of my TR seats which are ugly as hell:

(1) Putting '04 WRX seat into '06 WRX TR. Has anyone done it? My most concern about '06's passenger airbag detector that turns it on and off, is it same as on '04 WRX?

(2) What's the difference between STi and regular WRX seats? Just a colour scheme right? Visually they look the same. STi seems to be as deep bucket as WRX seat (which is not deep at all )

Thanks in advance!

They are identical. Only difference is the covering (unless your WRX came with heaters). Dont question me, ive been inside both

(1) The 04's & 05's didn't have the passenger sensor, so you will have to do the sensor mod. It has been posted in some other threads on here. Pretty simple little resistor in the plug.

(2) The seats are the same, just a different cover.

...OK....what about putting an '02 DRIVERS seat----JUST the drivers seat--- in an '06?????.....does the '02 seat fit the '06 slider/base??????(I hope)

....and where can I get the airbag plug to put on the '02 seat WITHOUT cutting the plug off the '06 seat????

theres also a sensor that senses seat position in the 06's and tells the airbag how hard to deploy. Don't know if this is new for 06 but it's something to consider before swapping seats.
