Default Forged pistons and rods, make me a list

Whats good not to get and good to get?

Prices, locations etc..

Got a phase one closed deck EJ20, I belive it's a 48mm. compression (when it is up) 8:1.

and detailed instructions on how to install these would be greatly appreciated.

OK, the only pistons I would ever use are J&E pistons. They are awesome! don;t even think of anything else, except maybe Cosworth

Not sure. I believe Cobb Tuning uses J&E pistons but I could be wrong

Get the pistons from Cobb Tuning. JE Makes them to his specs. Trey is very picky about his pistons. Give them a call and they will tell you all about them. I'm very satisfied w/ mine. As for rods the best are probally Crower or Carillo, however I'm using Pauter and they seem to be of very high quality. I have no complaints Cobb Tuning sells Crower and can get Pauter also. As for Carillo I don't know who sells them, but they can get them for you if you contact them directly.

ok JE it is for the pistons, now for the rods.....

J&E makes good rods also. I would say that hte best are definetly Carillo but not sure who makes those for the Subaru.

Carillo does have an EJ25 app. but it takes a while for them to make them. Same with Crower. I didn't have much time so I went w/ the Pauter rods since they were the only ones who had stock.
