Default Moving to Korea Trade your imac for my powerbook?

I just got my assignment to Korea. One year remote--no family and only 400lbs of gear.

My plan. Trade my 12" powerbook (1ghz G4, 768 MB, 40GB hd, wireless etc..) for a comparable non-wireless desktop (g4/g5 imac or mini) with firewire port, so my wife and kids can video-conference with me and my new 20" imac in Korea. I was going to keep the PB, but the screen is way too small for me to play games, and watch movies and tv in korea, and too small for everyone to gather around to watch videos of Dad.. The powerbook is in mint condition with no screen or case flaws. I've had it since new, 1.5 years. I know there are a lot of students with imacs that had wished they went with a portable wireless laptop. Now's your chance to trade up. email/pm for photo swap.

I will have a big garage sale in the beginning of July. Not sure if the WRX will go for sale until I find out for sure where I will be going next.

I'll trade you some stock wrx brakes and Rota slipstreams for a big brake kit and some revolution wheels ... While I'm at it I may as well swap turbo's with you too ...

Seriously though, good luck with the new assignment ...

I visited Korea two years ago. Had a lot of fun there. Living expense is relatively high, so spend money wisely.

Avoid going to those expensive bars where it could cost $2000+ a night...

Yeah. I heard the stories from a pal that just got back. The photos from all the bars show the Russian, Polish, and Phili "juicy" women brought in.. I coudn't imagine paying $20 for a girl to sit with you and talk for 5 minutes.
