I run a Kartboy short shifter, knob and bushing. I love it and it was one of the best/most fun mods I have done. I have not used any others so I can not comment but Tom at Kartboy does great work and he is a local member here.

I think for 150 I got all 3 pieces all top notch and the install of the shifter was super easy, 20 min start to finish.

I can get you a pic if you need one.

I think its well worth the money and more. The knob is really nice, and the height it just what I wanted. It gives you a much "notchy" feel to the shifts, in a good way. I am used to it now but when i get in my wifes Jetta I feel like I am shifting a school bus.
Tom really makes top quility product, ships fast and he includes atomic fire balls in each order .
You can get the shifter for about 100 bucks I think but if you can I say pony up for the knob as well. It fits ever so nicely in thy hand

Do it. Best $150 bucks you'll spend.
