I'll be disconnecting my headers this weekend to get to my O2 sensors, but it looks pretty simple after spending a while under my car this past weekend.

I'd imagine your access to it is about the same as my 97, but you should be able to get to the headers where they bolt to the exhaust ports. A couple bolts on each exhaust port should take it off the block and then a couple more bolts that connect it to the cats. Now if you have a turbo I'd imagine that will change somewhat.

Really just get under your car and look, it should all be in plain sight. I'd recommend soaking the bolts you'll be working on in PB Blaster the night before or a few days before to loosen then up a bit. Also torque them back down properly using factory specs.

I've heard that some good RTV and new gaskets are recommended. It should be three bolts per side, and two on the connector to the cat section. As GTWagon_Phreak mentioned, take a look and then soak the bolts in PB, even if they look ok.

It's a silicone sealant that'll make up for where the gaskets can't. This stuff has been recommended over in the NA forums more than a few times:

Ultra Copper RTV

That's what I thought it was. So do you just put this stuff on either side of the gasket and then bolt everything up?

I'm not certain, but that makes good sense to me.
