Lightbulb Subie Store

I was driving around Lakecity way a while back and I noticed, near Bothell, there's a shop called "Subaru's Only". It seems like a hole in the wall kinda place. One of co-workers took his there, and he seems very pleased by the price and quality of service. I called them up and asked about their pricing for the 30,000. Its about $350, compared to $450 at the dealer. They quoted couple hours. Unfortunately, they don't do recalls. The famous "Master brake Cylider" They asked what model, and I told her, 98 Legacy GT, she just went nuts. They love the GT.
Thought I pass on the news and share the wealth.

Thumbs up

OOoooo!!!

For those that are too lazy ( ) to look up the address:

15017 Bothell Way NE
Seattle, WA 98155
(206) 364-8089

I know where *I* am going this weekend! I bought my GT without the wing (because they have not started *making* the 2kGT wing yet), but I have been secretly wanting a GT-B wing... I wonder if they can get-ahold-of/install something like that...

Like I said, I think I'll head up there saturday.

Fill us in on if those guys can get parts from Japan. I drive by that place all the time. I would doubt they can but hey.. who knows. I would like to get a gt-b grille someday.

Talking

The next meet that we have, I should bring my Legacy accessory book with me and show it to you. TONS of stuff. I showed it to Jamie when we went to Shelton's Rally race, and she nearly drooled on my book. Grills, Turbo kits, airfresheners, all from Japan. I am still trying to get contacts.

Rich -

That is the conclusuion that I came to *after* I posted...

I'll have to take a look at that Import catalog, sounds interesting.

Does it have 2k stuff in it though? I know the reason that I don't have a wing yet is because the 2k is a bit different from the 99 wing (due to the whole Legacy re-design)...

Rich,
If you don't mind, send some of that performance catalog this way. Like where you got it, whatever. I have a 99 Limited GT
Let me know.

When I went to Japan in February, my buddy and I went to Autobacs (famous auto store)
and I bought this book on Subaru Legacy parts. I also got some goodies from my friend that works in Fuji heavy Industries, such as the not-for-sale promotional B4 poster, cellphone ribbon, and other stuff. Gotta show it to you guys later.
I am not sure about the 2K stuff. they may come out with a new catalog for that, since it resembles very close with the Legacy B4 (Naaaaaice car, handles great!)
I have only one copy of the catalog, so I am gonna have to bring it when we meet.

I have a coouple more posters too. Rare ones, and can't get em anywhere. Anyone want to buy? Good 'ol Kevin Costner is the Advertizing dude.

Now the B4: I would *die* to own a US-legal B4. -sigh-

That is why I chose the 2kGT... looks are close enough for now...

Did you ever see my pics? It may be a few more days before I get off my ass and clean the rest of them up... maybe I'll have Basshead host them for me (he has some "public" space on a server)...

I am hosting them on my USWest web page, then all it takes is putting in the tag to bring them up on the message board. The syntax in in the help file at the bottom of the "new message page"

[i m g] URL-to-you-image [/ i m g ]

(without the spaces, they are here so the system does not try to show an image)
