Default 02-03 vs 04-05 boost solenoid?

does anyone know if an 02 WRX Boost control solenoid will work with an 04 motor?

the part numbers are different:
16102AA360 for 04-05
16102AA160 for 02-03

As far as I know, they supercede as well inlet/outlet and mount positions are different. But they should still work the same. Only other thing I can think of is the connector is slightly different on new models.

I think it would. The year of the motor is not really the deciding factor, the ecu and bulkhead harness are and even then as long as you have a way to hook up the wires you should be good to go.

I bought the BCS off of an '04 Sti to put on my '02 WRX. Slightly different mounting bracket, so i had to mount it with the connecter facing down. Other than that, no differences.
