Default utec and mac

thinking about buying a utec(used) and before i do just wondering if it works with a powerbook(mac)?? thanx for any help

Yes it does, but you have to find the right usb-serial adapter and run virtual PC. I use a 17" powerbook with virtual pc running windows 2000. I went through about 4 adapters before I found one that worked and I bought several of them. Look for a Keyspan brand usb-serial adapter and you should be fine. There are a couple of tiny quirks I've found, but mainly between the mac and the adapter, not the UTEC. I tune with no issues whatsoever.

Or you could buy a $100 ebay laptop just for logging and leave it in your car.
