I think we can only use the NTK L2H2 UEGO with the Hydra. I'm having trouble finding one at all, let alone finding one cheap. Anyone have a hook up?

Try contacting Phil at Elemenet Tuning. I got mine as part of the Autotune option.

Yeah I have one, I just need a backup to keep around. I just need the sensor, not the harness.

Well besides the harness, I would believe Phil could source just the sensor for you.

but I'd buy it from Phil. He's not going to gouge you on a maintainance part.

THanks, that's not too bad ($220 shipped, US) Not sure what harness it comes with though.

That's not a bad price but it will have the wrong connector on the end so you will have to splice the old connector back on.

I have spare WBs with the correct connector for $250 if you just can't handle wiring in your own

Thanks,
Phil

I bought one from http://www.oxygensensor.net/l1h1.html for $185 shipped. The price has gone up to $199 shipped but it is still the cheapest I found. It is an L2H2 and has a different plug but is easy to rewire. Paypal only. ships from Canada. I will buy from then again.

Old thread, but neither of the sites suggested sell the L2H2 sensor. I have searched, and haven't come back with much. Any suggestions on where to buy a replacement sensor?

Would this be a possible replacement?

I see the connector is different for this sensor:

http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pro...roducts_id/352

Can you just pop the pins out and pin in the Hydra connector?

If that doesn't work, you can cut off your current plug and solder it onto the new sensor.

I replied to your message, btw.

Yea. It reads the AFR, but is acting really weird. Sometimes it will be in the neighborhood of the reading on my AEM wideband, and sometimes it will stick at 22.20 and then oscillate between 22.20 and 9.X. I have redone the connections, and they are secure. I have also recalibrated it twice.

its possible its a bad sensor but it sounds like a grounding issue of some sort. Does it matter if the car is warmed up or not when you get the sporadic readings?

Or this sensor is not compatible with the Hydra EMS system. There are many versions of the NTK sensor with various resistor values.

So is the Hydra only compatible within a certain range of resistor class? I would have thought that if it was out of range you wouldn't be able to calibrate it.

I don't know unfortunately as I'm supplied with the correct version. The numbers are on it but apparently on some of the WBs purchased from that website they XXXXXXX all the numbers so who know what you are buying.

With the 2.6 Hydra you can use an external input from a WB kit so read up on the manual if anyone is interested. Also this is for data logging purposes only and doesn't allow closed loop fuel control or Autotune.
