Default dies going uphill and hard acceleration

92 subaru legacy 2.2l auto awd 250000km

The problem is when I load down the engine going uphill or accelerate the car will start to miss and then die. I pull over to the side of the road , wait for a minite and it will start. This happens on every hill if I load down the engine to much. If I don't load the engine down and am careful with the throttle I can make it up the shorter hills but not the long one. I was having a problem with detonation happening just before it died but I think I have that fixed by putting in colder plugs. Now I don't have any pinging or knocking but it still dies. To me it feels and sounds like a fuel starvation problem.

Things I have done:

-seaform
-Tko injector cleaner(not cheap stuff)
-plugs and wires
-O2 sensor new
-knock sensor new
-fuel pump and filter
-91 octane fuel
-compression is 1,2,3, 175psi 4 190psi
-air filter

The car idle smooth and accelerates smoothly. But after a 3 or 4 seconds I can feel it starting to miss then I know it's going to die.
This happen every day, not just once in a while.

Any ideas Please

Sounds like an injector to me. Any CEL (check engine light)?

I had an old Sentra that did something similar to this and noone could ever figure out why. I eventually traded it in. Not that any of this helps...

Thats the stange thing. I get no codes and no cel. I am going to try changing the fuel regulator and the MAF. But I am just guessing. This is starting to drive me nuts. And getting a little expensive.

The MAF sounds like the leading candidate. If it's not reading the amount of air properly, then you're leaning out the car badly and not making any power. It is odd that you're not hearing any pinging, but it might be so bad that it can't get enough load to be noticeable.
