Default DFW: Dyno Day at Autoscope in Plano May 20th

Autoscope in Plano is running a dyno day this Saturday the 20th from 8am to 5pm. They have a new Dynapak dyno that can dyno AWD cars! Price is seventy-five for two pulls. Not great but it is a chance to go dyno on another local dyno for comparitive results. Manoxide069 recently dynoed there and seems to like the facility.

Chances are I will be out there later in the afternoon with some Audi guys however I might not be dynoing since I've got a bad cv joint that's awaiting replacement.

I'm doing the whole just dropping in deal. If you've got questions I'd give them a call. 972-867-7467 No clue whom to ask for though.

They are an authorized Dinan dealer/installer. Why would they be affordable?

Because all they do is press the gas pedal and let off 2 times.Think about it this way, a dyno pull shouldn't be more than a lap dance.

Additionally, the dyno they have works hub-driven. In other words, your wheels have to be removed. That is gonna cost more. I am going to stop by just to see how that mutha' works.

$75 for a dynapak is not a bad deal considering the amount of work it takes loading and unloading... expect anywhere between 30-45 min total to load, run it 2 times and unload a car depending on how many people are working on it... i have loaded and unloaded my car plenty of times on the Dynapak at Subaru of Gwinnett (i am a little slow at doing it though )

i'll try to stop by in the afternoon and check out the facility
