Default Fuel injectors

Hey,

You guys have been very helpful with my Legacy problem.

Another question-----

How do I replace the fuel injectors? I can see them and removed the two screws, but I don't want to start yanking on what appears to be a plastic injector.

It is threaded? Is it held w/a gasket? Do I need a special tool?

Sorry to be an idiot.

JD

Make sure to remove all the bolts. I think there's 4 on each side. MY00 has 5 on the drivers side. The bolts are 12mm. Remove all the bolts and gently pull up. The rail and injectors will come out. Undo the wire clip and pull them out. Their held in by o-rings.

Any complications with engines that have a lot of miles on them? I'm pretty sure the original injectors are in my car, although they may have been removed/reinstalled around 173K when the HG's went & the engine was rebuilt.
