TECII install - quick question

I've been working on my car (see "2.5t update" thread) and I think I'll have time (12-16 hours) this weekend for my buddy and I to put it in. Does anyone know if the pully-pullers you can pick up from Kragen etc will fit w/o taking out the radiator completely? Shiv said some people have used crow-bars etc <ouch> after they take out the radiator fan, any ideas?

we didn't take the fans out, just unbolted them and moved them aside so there was more room. Then we just sort of wiggled the pulley around

to get it loose. BUT second time I've taken this off, and the first time it just came right off, didn't need any special tools or any more work.
