So I'd imagine that the AWD chassis expereinces a 25% drivetrain loss, just like we do?

You might say that....

Anyway, mark, most any modern touring car RC will be AWD. Some use a belt to direct power from the main drive gear to one differential, and then a longer belt to to tie that differential to the other, and others use a shaft from the front to the rear. The world of RC cars is huge, and there are many many offerings for cars. Towerhobbies.com has some of the best prices anywhere. Also check out www.hpiracing.com for some other really sick bodies and wheels. They also have some decent cars. If you want to see some beautiful engineering, check out xray's line of cars: http://www.radiocontrol.gr/news_xray_t2_061205.htm

As far as BD sedan bodies, I have not seen any. But, it'd be easy enough to just buy another sedan body with a similar profile and swap stickers.

I've got one of the ABC wagon bodies, I paid $60 plus exorbitant shipping for it a few years back and haven't gotten around to giving it a two-tone paint job. They make a BD body, too, but the only place you could previoulsy get them imported form doesn't carry either of the old LEgacies anymore.

Yeah, I used to be the small scale moderator over on rccrawler.com, but I was spending less and less time over there, and more on the 1:1 forums, I told them I wanted to resign. They laughed and a few weeks later realized I wasn't doing jack over there and canned me. What chassis are you using under there? Bulu, Jefferson, or maybe even a one off?

It's a one-off, ladder-frame with an exo. Kinda bodged together, but it works.

If you want to hear something funny, Unimoger is buying my OB with all the mods and is going to do an STi drop and a Perrin buildup on it while I grab a new GT wagon

Thanks, it's actually a Courier

That beetle looks similar to an HPI body.......looks like low stock right now, but should be in stock in June?

The front clip is different, though, I can't place it..looks almost like an original Monster Beetle. Those are all over Ebay...

It's been a long while, but I still have my Team Associated original RC10-T truck.

I can't remember the name, but I was going to buy one of those carpet racers. They are 2WD in the straights and somehow it can convert to 4WD in the corners?

I've been out of the R/C hobby for a long time.

I recently looked at another RC10 T kit. What's with all these ready to run kits? I had a lot of fun actually building my R/C car.

Kids these days, must have instant gratification.

Sybir, I'm not too surprised about unimogger. He knows the owner of Perrin and even offered me his discounts on any perrin part he can get a hold of. That's cool though, I'll have to ask him how its going once he gets it started.

As for the VW bug body, its from Parma. Its a traxxas stampede body, but there are no body post holes. The rest of the VW is custom. Its tamiya TLT-1 axles, HPI wheels, IMEX swamp dawg tires, stampede tranny, and my TSC-10 chassis. I only sold 25 of them, and two are destroyed now as far as I know. So, add mine in and add another one off carbon fiber copy of mine there's 25 left out in the world

For more information on these types of trucks, the only resource you need is www.rccrawler.com They have an awesome video forum too

I never even made the connection that you were the one who made the TSC-10. I was looking at those when I first found the site, and they were gone by the time I started doing a build. I still like the stick pack slots

I need to build a more comp-type crawler, but I'm really into the scale stuff.

Here's the guts of mine:

I really need to get my Scooby painted up and on my old Pro3 as a shelf queen

well, I just bought a traxxas rustler, but the only way you can buy it is ready-made. I got it and the hpi volkswagen beetle baja body. I will get a bronco body soon, but this is enough to keep me busy for now.

Now I have a tamiya tt-01 subie sti for the street and the traxxas vw bug for off road.

If I had known you were that anxious to buy a truck, I could've sold my losi xxx-t to you for $50, more if you wanted electronics with it. But mine is just collecting dust.
