Default Walbro 255lph fuel pump failing?

Hi,

I have had this Walbro 255lph fuel pump for about 10000km now. It made a humming sound before.Yesterday got a lot louder and it started making a loud whirring sound. I can hear it over my exhaust at idle (the exhaust is pretty loud). When i get out of the car its even louder and you can definitley hear it in the back. I'm running 900cc injectors and the stock fueling with the pump. Any ideas on if the sound is an indicator the pump is failing?

AFRs seem to be the same it drives the same and I am not getting any detonation. I know i need a feul pressure guage but dont have one yet..

I'm getting on the dyno soon so i'd like to make sure i'm ok before i go blwoing my engine on the dyno run lol

Thanks

just take a spare pump with you. keep it in the trunk along with a pair of pliers and a nutdriver.
