Thumbs down

Opinion: "reserve" auctions suck. I never bid on auctions where even if I win, I may not win...

Yes, well, that aside... what about the kit itself? Seems to be missing a replacement ECU... anything else?

What about LudeSpeed? Anyone have any experience with them?

On reserve auctions it will tell you when the reserve is met. You could also email the seller asking what the reserve price is. As for the kit, I didn't see the intake plumbing or up and downpipe.

I think Tom at Ludespeed needs to know about this. I hope this guy isn't expecting to make a profit on this. Everyone that was in the first group buy agreed (from my knowledge) not to sell the kit for more then what they bought it for. I think Tom should know just because well he made the kit for use on a car not to be sold for a profit.

I am not saying don't buy it, just be careful not to pay more then what it is really worth.

Brand new in the GP these kits were $2,900 plus a couple hundred for the coating I think. I wouldn;t pay any more than that for it. Good kit all-in-all so if you want it, don't be hesitant about the kit itself. I'm one of the many with it

Click the second picture. All the piping is shown.

How the heck can you pay more than it's worth??? Obviously if you are paying that amount its "Worth" that amount to YOU. Simple economics.

Of course you can pay more than what something is worth! You can;t pay more than what something's intrinsic value is to you but you can pay more than something's worth!

If someone appraises your house and says it is worth $150,000 and you just payed $175,000 you paid more than what the house is worth

The base kit on the GB was $2900, that looks pretty base to me, though I don't see whether it is a MAF or MAP based kit (though it seems more a MAP-based kit). The Jet-Hot coating cost me $165.

It appears to be missing (at least from the pics) a silicone hose to connect one of the pipes to the TB/turbo, also the oil return hose seems to not be there. It appears to have a BOV flange on both a tube and the IC, so I think it is missing the filter to turbo tube. Also, I don't see any electronics or the RRFPR - which I believe all the stage II's came with (one or the other, at the very least).
