I've never been to one of these events(except mazdarevitup). Is there a day that would be better to go as a spectator(saturday, sunday)? Any charge for spectators/parking? Anything else I should know??

Thanks!!

I know Friday is just tech an registration from 7.00 - 8.30. But say I get there around 5.00, will I be able to tech and register and get out of there or do we have to stick around for something.

Plus, I'm not leaving my car there, since its my only means of transportation. BT, I have your rule book, so let me know when you plan on getting there and I'll be there. I will probably want some dinner at some point....what are some of you guys doing?

Parking is going to be tight as a spectator. Park on the grass just as you enter the site. Almost all of the spots on the pavement will be taken. If you pull in and see 'stuff' on the ground in front of what appears to be an empty spot... don't park there. It's taken by a car that's competing. Also, if you're under 18, you need to have a parent or legal guardian with you to sign the waiver.

So best advice is after you enter the gate and sign the waver... park it just around the corner on the grass.

It's free to spectate. Sunday would probably be better to watch as it should be not only nicer out, but cars will be fighting 'for the win'.

You'll be able to pick your paddock space out and walk the course once it's done being set up. Once reg opens, you can then register. Once tech opens, you can tech.

You don't have to be registered before you tech. They are independent of each other at this event. So get the car teched... walk the course... register... go have fun.

Also, look at the run work order... you don't have to be back at the event on Sat/Sunday and in grid until 1/2 hr before you run/work. After you run and work, you can go for the day. No reason to hang around on Sat... unless you want to cheer other drivers on. (or if you're working/running in 5th heat)

If it's the brewery exchange... about 20 miles from Ayer to Lowell.

Friday I'm planning on heading to the brewery after tech/reg
Saturday, I'm rushing back to Merrimack for the RibFest, anyone else is welcome to join me...its gonna be a jam packed weekend of fun :-). I think RumblingRex and miserlou will be meeting me there.

May bring a book to draw down the course this time around...not gonna remember by Saturday morning.

This is my last weekend in the states until July.

looking at the work/run assignments again, i dont run until the afternoon. i confused SM L with SM, is it a sign that i should run with the ladies? so that means its a few hours more the motor will last, fingers crossed it will make it the weekend. slow, slow, slow, slow, slow, slow is better
