Post some pics of your Legacy and list any mods you have done or want to do.
<img src=http://home.att.net/~teaguesubaru/sedan-4a.jpg>

It is a 95 L sedan I have added a GT hood, Front and Rear air dam, Projector fog lamps, Tweeter kit, Rear spoiler, 98 16" RS rims, Factory CD player, Rear disk brakes (Turbo) As soon as I can test it stock I am going to add a Unorthodox Underdrive pulley. I am also in the process of developing a prototype of a air intake for the Legacy model like you can get for the Impreza RS.

Time for me to chime in! Let me know what you all think. So far all I have is the 18mm rear bar and some 17" Team Loco wheels with 215/45/17 P7000 Pirelli's. I also have the JCSports 2.5" cat-back (which sounds SWEET, the Arospeed muffler is badass)

Thumbs up

That is a sweet red 99 GT you have Force[FED]. I had a freind call me and tell me about a Black 99 GT he had for sale totaled of course. He said it went down the road on its top. I just don't know if I want AWD...I can do allot with my 95 since it does not have all the weight from a AWD tranny and suspension.

Dale, don't know if you want AWD?!? For the small disadvantages that you mentioned, the advantages totally outwiegh them!!If you have a chance, go for it! BTW, I'm assuming if you want to post a picture, it has to be on a web site already, no? Anyone want to donate some of their web site !

Question

NO AWD?! No offense, but what's the point? Personally I think there are better 2wd cars out there. For me the main appeal of Subaru is the AWD, otherwise I'd drive a Toyota, Nissan or (shudder)a Honda. For the 100 or so pounds of weight it's definitely worth the improvement in stability and handling. I bet your car was cheap, though, since most people seem to feel the same as I do(no AWD=no point).

Well I was looking for a Legacy sedan with less curb weight this one has it. I don't need a SUBARU for the snow my 86 RX Hi-lo 4x4 does the job. Also who wants to pay $20,000-$30,000 and have to drive it in the snow so some fool in a 2wd can crash the side of you. I was looking for a Legacy that would be fast in a straight line.. I am currently looking for a crashed Impreza to play around with since you can get more mods for them at this time. I can pick up the 99 GT for around $4200 But I just don't want another dark car. I passed on a Black 98 RS about 6 months ago in CT for the same reason dark color. I would like to find a Silver or White one but in my business you don't get to always pick the color you want. Hey if you can post your curb weight I want to see how much difference there is.

Just FYI. This thread is almost 13 years old. I hope he's still not shopping for a car

For future reference though, check the post dates before replying to threads, it's above the names of the posters.

This guy is either a bot, or complete tool. He's doing this to all sorts of old threads...

It is funny to see Pat Olsen asking how to post pictures though

haha.

for those joining the party late - Some troll/bot posted up a bunch of really old threads. Frogsthatmoo did not make the revival post. I can see the perpetrator's posts have since been deleted and probably banned.
