Gee... that's purdy!

Those sun shades don't work! Your car heats like an oven (not just through the glass), so your car, much like an oven, doesn't benefit much from its window being covered. The heat still comes right though the body...

They most definitely protect the dash from cracking though.

You mean the steel skin, heat from skin hardly disspates into cabin due to insulation.
Yet heat generated from sunbake on dark interior remain trapped inside cabin. Dispate slowly thru glass into environment.

Dashboard is worst area to generate heat on your car.

Anyway, new video clip is here

I purchased one of these "X-Shades" for my Tribeca and I absolutely hated it

I gave it a couple days, hoping I would like it...

I am returning it as we speak.

- The size that is supposed to fit is the Tribeca is too small by 2-3 inches on either side
- The Handle and hook mechanism is HUGE, takes up too much space on the dash
- The reflection on the inside of the windshield from the shade and handle/hook apparartus is VERY distracting
- The hook does not go easily around the rear view view mirror if you have one of the auto diming mirrors- because of the wiring.

I am returning it for the simple type....
