As far as protection goes, I would assume that you are talking about someone stealing them?

Here are a couple more pictures. As you can see the "hot" pipes run outward to the frame rail. The wastegates dump to atmosphere, and yes, there is an equalizer pipe between the two.
![]() ![]() We are using a Tilton oil pump to pump the oil back to the engine due to the low mounting of the turbos. ![]() Here is the other side of the engine compartment. ![]() And one somewhat from underneath.(with my beautiful bald head) ![]() |

Hav'nt had any problems yet. i put about 80 miles on it yesterday and it was about 85 degrees outside. It actually holds the same as a stock radiator and there is now a lot less heat in the engine bay.

Sweet! Yeah, after I looked at it longer it seemed to be pretty close to the same size as a stocker.
So why only 7psi? BTW-very nice work! I also like the two ICs. |

Did you ever consider mounting the air filters directly to the compressor housing? I cant tell if it would interfere with the bumper or if it would fit nicely where the foglights normally go.

looks like a crazy setup, but personally i'd go with a single front mount since form follows function. |

No built motor, that is this winters project. Still stock gearbox, I have yet to break it. I had actually really wanted to go single intercooler. After a couple of minutes on the phone with Bell intercoolers he had me talked into running two.

Keinan your gay, im getting red x's on most of the pics on here and on drag.
On another note, I had the pleasure of seeing this car being built and it really is beautiful. All of Keinans nights of crying, flailing and naysaying paid off. Im glad I was there to be an ass hole for you buddy. But you know I think the car is amazing and flippin sweet. |

I will get the car up in the air tonight for some manifold pictures. And as far as building a kit, we have thought about it, and talked about it, everything other than do it. I figured that if someone really wanted it I would sell them my setup and build something else. Again thanks for all the great comments.

Nice job! Very original setup.
One Question: Do you think the distance the turbos are from the cylinders is increasing the spool time? |

I am sure that if the turbos were mounted directly to the heads it would spool a little faster, But in all actuality with our header design the distance for the air to travel is abou t the same as a borla header to an up-pipe on a stock configuration car.

As far as that goes here are some beginning pictures of his car. Keep in mind these are the very first stages and the motor in the car is a dummy motor to mockup everything else. ![]() ![]() |
