Default Pueblo Motorsports safety class

PMI has the new requirement of a safety instruction class before you can rent track time. I am coordinating a class with GO4IT Racing School and we need a few more drivers to reach quorum.

This is not a race driving school, but a track safety class. GO4IT will teach track safety and spend some time showing basic lines around the track. We should have a significant amount of free track time during the day. The cost is $149/person (only $100 more than renting the track would cost). Cars do not have to be race-prepped, but you must bring an appropriate helmet (no rules about Snell rating).

For those unfamiliar with it, PMI is a dynamite 2.2-mile, 10-turn road course just west of Pueblo, CO. I've enjoyed many days there while racing SCCA and then renting time.

The currently available dates are May 15 and May 31. Let me know ASAP if you are interested.

I think this is posted on www.awdpirates.net as well. Maybe it was you that posted it there. Anyways, free bumpage.

Thanks for the tip. My post was only here but I forgot about AWDPirates.

Come on, folks - this will be fun! It's a great way to experience your first track day and is now mandatory for experienced track drivers if you don't have proof of a safety class (or a racing license).

Is there a difference between the safety class for motorcycles vs cars at PMI?

Just a thought... GO4IT works with cycle riders too.

Yes - Mike does race bikes as well. I originally had a couple of friends on bikes who were going to join us but they backed out. You're welcome to join us, but I recommend contacting Mike (303-666-4113 100mph@GO4ITServices.com) to make sure that he will have the right mix of staff there to support us on the 31st.
