banman, did you find your wallet yet? You missed a fun one.
No luck on the wallet. Looks like I'm gonna spend most of today getting my id and cards replaced

I had my citizenship card AND driver's license in there, which means I have to go and find my Certificate of Landing to get my license replaced . . . grrr.

Were you out yesterday banman? As in, did you lose it in the city somewhere? or stay home and just lose it around the house somewhere?

I came into work for a half-day yesterday between about 8:30 and 12:00. It must have fallen out of my jacket pocket while I was cycling. So that means it is/was somewhere between Kits and downtown.

Had to drop by the police station this morning, then ICBC. Couldn't get my temporary license because it costs $17 and I have no credit or debit cards and no cash. Luckily, I do have one bank card left, but I'm waiting for a new PIN to arrive by mail.

Replacing my citizenship card takes 3-6 months and costs $75. . .

Yup yup. I signed up for this service called "CardAssist" where you register all your credit/bank cards. One phone call to them and they phone everyone for you. That's one less thing to worry about, anyway.

And I've already phoned both credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion) to get a flag put on my credit record, just in case.

I'm really wishing I had gotten around to depositing the $60 cash that was in my wallet, though

Grrr. Ok, this is getting ridiculous.

I got there, opened the door, see big sign that says "2 pieces of ID required".

Seeing as how I have no ID or credit cards at the moment . . .

And a dress code? Last place I went to with a dress code was Brandy's

Well, at least I got to "cruise" by myself out to Coquitlam and back.

Stephen...they don't ID you, and you don't need to follow a dresscode bro! We wear jeans, hats, sneakers, etc all the time!

a dress code there pretty much just means to make sure you're covered up

Poor Predwolf was all lonely

haha wow you didn't even go inside?!!!!

i only carry one piece of ID... and i've never had to use it there... and ya... i think the dress code is so people don't walk in all nude-ish... but really, if somebody is nude and going into a bar they probably aren't going to take the time to read a sign let alone follow the rule...

we were there! waiting!

predwolf, funkmasta and that guy that works there and tells awesome stories that he doesn't really remember...

hope to see a better turn out next week!

IIRC dresscode is for friday/saturday nights only, and as for the ID, I doubt they'd ID you.

It was great to be able to drink and not have to worry about the drive home Thanks a ton Ken, I really appreciate it.

Banman, come inside next week, it's not all that bad .

ANd following up my last 40 wings, I had Poutine instead tonight .
