Default Help me complain to Texas Roadhouse

Some of you remember my "Bad experiance at Texas Roadhouse" thread. ORIGINAL THREAD HERE For those that dont the CN: We went there and my friend, who had 90% of his stomach removed because of cancer, was not allowed to order from the kids menu.

Well I heard of a similar story in Philadelphia and they were supposed to be raising hell on the internet.

I would like you all to email TR to complain about this.
Click here to link to the TEXAS ROADHOUSE contact page.

Select your local store and say something about how you will not go there until they change this policy. Or whatever. If you dont have a local store then send your email to the Lafayette Indiana one.
If you think this is dumb or dont want to do this then feel free not to. Also thanks to "BajaGirl" for giving me this idea. Post on here if you do this.

....but balbino had a bad experience there, so *all* TR's must be bad and we *all* must complain.

Heh. There was a plastic bread tie in my salad one time at Chili's. I may have avoided that particular Chili's for awhile, but it didn't make me want to boycott the entire franchise.

Newsflash: Bad service at major chain restaurants is a common problem.

I've had bad service at nearly every major chain restaurant. I expect bad service! In fact... if the service is very good, something must be wrong. People need to get over minor crap like this and move on with their lives.

Go eat at ****ing Outback next time! Or Lonestar... or any other bagillion restaurants.

This is like the 12th bad thing I had heard about it. Here's one of the others http://racingsouthwest.com/forums/in...5&#entry471665

I e-mailed them, because I was planning on digging on some cow wednesday night.

I've never seen any restaurant menu that says, "Kid's Menu - under 12 only, unless you have cancer".

Granted, the manager or similar could have made an exception for you, however to get pissy and upset and demand change is akin to all of the other "minority causes" like banning school prayer, having bilingual signs everwhere, playing in the PGA but using a cart, etc.

It's becoming an epidemic in this country that a very small, but usually loud, minority influences the majority.

I'm not saying your cancer friend didn't have a reason to order from the kid's menu, but if the restaurant's policy is "Under 12 only" then why can't your friend respect the rules like everyone else over 12 years old? Order a regular meal, eat what you can, and take home the rest for the next day.

I don't know if this strategy will cut it here.

Not to be insensitive to the OP or his friend, I really don't think Texas Roadhouse will feel much of an impact from a boycott by stomach cancer survivors.

Well, i can say that i have never eaten there, and never will. They just opened one up here in Des Moines about 5 months ago, and usual waits are 1.5-2 hours to be seated. No steak is worth that.

Uhm, I like TR. I will not participate in your shenanigans.

How about doing something constructive with your crusade like raising awareness/donation money for stomach cancer?

Their steak is good, but their ribs are frigging delicious.
