Default You have to love days like this...

I'll just get to the point about my "good" day. I pull up to work this morning, hit the lock button on my door, get out, shut my door. OH YEAH! I forgot to grab my keys I sat down for like .0595230952 seconds.

Anyways its only 9:08 -- what else will go wrong today? You have to love days like this.

I guess I learned my lesson about not using the remote to lock the door.

Lexus Smart Access FTW.

(if you lock your keys in the car, just touch the door handle to open)

We're not that fancyful! You can do the same in most Benz and Vette's now.

So did you get someone to open it for you yet?

I just called Subaru Road Side Assitance. So now I am just waiting. ...I guess it makes my day go by faster, but it really leaves me in a bad mood (from my own stupidiity).

I got it open around 11:30ish. It was all covered by my Subaru Road Side Warranty so I am happy now. But I had scheduled an oil change today and had to cancel that

Oh well, if I am not an idiot tomorrow I can make it to my oil change.

Mine is an 06 but if you lock the door with the key in the ignition it will unlock.. *Shrug* The first time I did it was when I was at the dealership looking at the car and I hit the lock button and it unlocked and I was like wtf... why is it unlocking then I noticed the keys were in the ignition. lol

I know little to nothing (see: nothing) about changing oil/engine/modding. I love driving, I love cars, and I understand how an engine works, but I'd rather pay someone money to change my oil. Someone has to pay to have the oil changed or all those poor people would be out of jobs

lexus FTL, BMW FTW. rather than enable people to lock the keys in and make a system to allow them to open the car, why not prevent them from locking the keys i th car to start with? if the driver's door is open, you can't lock the car. problem solved...
