i bet around 36-37k msrp plus markup. I'm taking the 34-35k sticker of the 06, add for nicer wheels, leather, sunroof, etc.

I think the Enkei wheels are actually cheaper.

I was sitting at the dealers desk while he was talking to the SoA rep. They won't know MSRP until end of June or early July. He guessed that it would be pretty close to a regular STI's MSRP. The STI wing and BBS wheel deletes save a ton of money. However, they probably won't do preorders for much less than MSRP. At end of June, the 800 will be allocated to sold orders first, then the rest will go to dealers according to normal pecking order. So if there are a bunch of pre orders before the end of June allocation, there's a chance your dealership might not get one. I ended up deciding that a left over '06 was a much better deal. With the money I saved I can dewing the trunk and still have $$$ left over for a NAV system, leather (still undecided), and all season tires...

Also, preorders that are in before end of June will arrive at dealers in late August (according to Midwest SoA rep)

And the actual retail price is? $36,595!

MarkRx you are the winner, come on down! Tell him what he's won Bob!"

Sorry couldn't help it.

I'm hoping in the $35-36 range myself and that there will still be some new ones available in a year. Because thats when I'll be in the market for one.

Says no one. I was kidding around trying a "the price is right" joke. didn't work it seems. And there will never be a rock solid price for one since every dealer will have their own price.

You wish. THe base price will be at least $35,000 - leather, moonroof and upgraded stereo alone are worth more than $2000.

sure, but they deleted the forged BBS wheels, and the giant spoiler on the rear end.

i don't think there will be any options on the sti limited. it comes with everything, which is why its a limited edition. i can't see any way it would cost more than a legacy spec b.

I agree. The Spec.B also has NAVI, which is a $2K option on other Subies.

I think they also went the standard JDM STI suspension bits, while the USDM STI had the Spec C parts.

u won't be able to get one for under $40k the demand for this car is huge and with only 800 being made dealers will be marking them up the arse subaru should have built this STI 2 years ago.
