Default Quietest Catback & Will Helix DP mate up to Cobb Catback?

Just as the title states, what is the quietest aftermarket Catback, and will the Helix DP mate up to Cobb Catback & Stock Catback?

per www.jscspeed.com, the greddy evo2 and the borla hush are the quitest they offer. may be something else out there but they have a study they did. it's posted on their exhaust section of their site

I just read unabombers manifesto. Awsome right up, sorry i didnt read it before posting this.

I understood that the Helix DP will not mate up to the stock CB and the Cobb CB will mate up to the Helix DP. Right?

Sorry english is not my first language.

The down pipe is going to remove a lot of the "quietness", but those brands listed above will be quieter than most.

I know, i want to have the power of stage II, i know it will make the car louder, but i want it to be quiet enough so that I can actually cruise in it without it being a bother to talk or take long trips.

I have a Helix catless DP matted to my stock CB. There is barely any difference in noise with this set up. Basically with the windows up and the radio off the only difference is that you can hear the turbo spooling.
As far as the Cobb CB, I'm pretty sure it will mate with the Helix DP. If you want to listen to a sound clip there's one on Cobb's website.

Rich had one of those at the WBM. It was pretty quiet, but it sounded GREAT!

Bummer that it is wicked backordered. Mine still has about a 2 week wait untill I see it.

Catted Prodrive PPP III. I am told they are going to update the ECU's for 05's, but you will want to contact Prodrive to be sure.

$1900 for 228 whp. It's more expensive than other options, but everything is bolt on and the ECU is plug and play. The oval tip exhaust looks OEM and is one of the more quite exhausts as you can see from Unabomber's manifesto.

Good luck in your search.

I would get the Evo2 if it didn't look like it could shoot tennis balls out if itself... gives people bad ideas

Blitz Nur-Spec RX is quiet, I can barely hear it from inside my car and not obnoxiously loud on the outside.

^^^This is a very quite set-up. I have the PPP3 with catted DP on my 05, and I barely noted the noise increase over just the Prodrive muffler.

Umm...someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you mean the nur-spec R isn't it one of the loudest CB's on the market for the Impreza?
