Thumbs down The inevitable has begun

I'm headin to work yesterday when I see a white Lancer OZ edition... so guess what...yup stupid punk ass kid pulls up in the next lane and then guess what...yup he did it...he started revving on me! I was thinkin, "You IIIIIIDDDDEEEEOOOITT!" so figured I would be polite and oblige him and I did... Lancer OZ smoked edition!!! Beyotch!

It was everyone race Steve day too.

On the way home a yuppie prick in one of those new Benz coupes was next to me and when I passed him, he jumped over a lane and then tried to race me too!!! It must have been the wimpy C230 with the I-4 engine cuz I totally lost the holeshot cuz i wasnt really paying attention, but before 1st gear was done I was ahead of him, stupid yuppie prick! He gets the monkey for that!
:monkey:

And right before I get home stupid ass in an old Celica starts tailgating me so as I head into a right turn, I just coast and never touch the brakes and then accel right out but at that stage he was about 4-5 car lengths behind! moron! He gets the monkey too!
:monkey:

hahaha There is this white Mirage next to my work that has Lancer stikers on it and he tried to race me. It was not even funny, I beat him to the next light by at least 4 car lengths.

The mirage is a bunch of BS...
The Lancer is no joke... the one they import is nothing really the real Lancer is the GSR and the EVO VII. I have my serious doubts thsese are going to show up in the US for a couple or more years....

Last year (before the WRX was reality) I drove a EVO VI Tommi Makinen edition and I know that it was no joke at all... I only drove it for like an hour but that beast (by the seats of my pants meter) was accelerating with quite more authority than a stock WRX.

The fact is the the EVO is being sellling left hand drive for at least 2-3 years all over the world but the STi has never been manufactured as a left hand drive.

Price of a regular EVO in Europe is hovering around $30-32k. They have a Ralliart version (prodrive equivalent) called extreme that pushes 340hp with stock turbo... price around $40k. People testing it say it is considerably faster than an M3 (latest version european specs..)

I hope Mitsu brings the GSR and/or the EVO then Subaru will have to release the STi.

I think the market in the US is ready for both. What do you guys/gals think?

Cheers

Question

Did you guys notice that the US spec. Lancer looks NOTHING like the EVO VII? I mean nothing at all.

Lancer OZ Edition = boring looking but at least a modicum of originality was used

Lancer EVO VII = Somewhat gussied up Honda Accord

why is that?

Just so I can tell who I smoke and who's gonna smoke me!

EVO VI's have been selling for more money in the UK than the EVO VII's from what I understand. I guess people don't trust the new platform.

Nissan could even release a watered down Sunny, that would be cool. Could you imagine the look on peoples faces getting whooped up on by what appears to be a body encladded civic, but is actually a turbo charged awd mini-beast?

now how strange I was returning from work this afternoon and on east 580 around Pleasanton I saw a while Lancer...
Indeed it was not the OZ edition but nevertheless it did not look nothing like the EVO VII.

Did I mention that the fellow driving it try to cut me off ? (or at least close the gap so I have a hard time getting infront of him?

bad luck because I have my motorcycle and I just twisted my right hand and never quite knew what passed him

I just do not get it why some people want to play with someting that they never had a chance....

Have you guys ever seen lowered down full size pickup try to out run a Yamaha R1? (I do not own an R1). The fellow on the truck only heard the scream the R1's engine and he was about 4 blocks behind.... (I myself was looking for my jaw that fell on the tarmac... )

cheers
