Default My Stock Lug Nuts Suck On My New Wheels???

It was a pain to put my new wheels on the holes to put the lugs on were deep and the lugs are big so the ratchet would scrape the wheels some times. What length lugnuts should I get or can you guys recommend one? The wheels are Work Vs-Xx with 52mm offset.

Get some skinny ones with a thin key - tuner ones or Gorillas like these http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...003863/c-10101

OK - so you think JC Whit sucks

Would deep sockets help? I'm not sure if I'm understanding correctly but you could probably get deep sockets and be in good shape.

Another thing to keep in mind, some OEM nuts will not seat properly on aftermarket wheels. Make sure the nut taper is the same as the mounting surface on the wheel, some lug nuts are more rounded where others are a straight chamfer.

They do require that one have the special piece to remove them - 5 locks per wheel?

Default rays??

haha i got to thinking.... rays are expensive and some civic (4 lug cheap bastards) could easily take the remaining 4 off your rims and leave the keyed ones "holding" your car up..... go for 2 locks if the rims are worth it.

Look for "tuner" style lug nuts. They have a narrower shank, so you can use a smaller socket and not screw up your wheels.

I've got McGards spline drive on my Works. Perfect fit.
