What do you want done? Mobile Performance did an install for Rich (who never enters the SE region forum now that he moved but it was a clean install and cost about 200 IIRC.

I'm not trying to push them on you it's just the only shop I'm familiar with. Like I said I did my own install from wiring to spacers.

You're talking about RS Drifter, right? I'm definitely going to give mobile performance a look...I'm in no real rush, I drive with the radio off/windows down 80% of the time anyway. Are they a full car audio place? I'm looking to get some new gear to go with my existing stuff and Rickwood told me 600 because they won't use any of the stuff I have and only want to sell Focal speakers.

Hey kurtis my friend is tryin to get a job up there and they won't hire him because his credit is bad and they want him to pay 2 consecutive payments on everything he owes on before they hire him. Is there anything that can be done?

Yeah, sorry Larry, I immediately realized the error of my ways when I got in the car 10 minutes later. Haven't been home since to change it...

You shouldn't have that problem there. Rich brought all his own stuff to them and they did the install. They sell mainly MB Quart but have other options.

Yeah, ended up getting them to do the work today. They did the MB Quarts up front and some Boston 6.5's in the back with a Kenwood 4 channel 500watt amp. The sound is just simply NIGHT AND DAY compared to the old setup, problem solved.

Its pretty simple, people expect that whoever is handling their money is responsible. Its like not being able to get a security clearance because of bad credit. You are more likely to get yourself into trouble than someone that doesn't have any financial problems.

You put in alpine type-r components right? Are they running off an amp or the radio? I forgot to ask you at the meet about them. I have been think about getting the same thing.

I know next to nothing about bikes in all honesty, but I saw a guy riding what i found out to be a triumph thruxton 900. I fell in love, its soo classic/brit looking.

EDIT: Oh and now that I think I have all my kinks worked out, I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me with my front mount install, one more time. So, thanks guys.

so you'll be running the front and the rears off the head unit. The cross over is not a source of power it just let's freq's cross over (mid and tweeter). I would power the fronts with an amp if your using component speakers but that's just me. I'm pretty sure you can fit 5.25's in the rear with little to no modification but I'd have to double check that.

Here's what I have and I still need to adjust the amp a little but it screams:
Clarion HU (cheapie)
Apine Type R 6.5 comps
stock rear (b/c it doesn't matter it's just fill)
Treo 12" (from way back in the day)
Kenwood KAC 5CH "1200" watt powers the fronts and the sub. It's not really 1200 250 goes to the sub around 40 goes to each alpine.

Not bad at all.........

My old Subaru Setup was

Kenwood flip out DVD Head unit
Rockford P162s 6.5 3 way Components in the front doors
Rockford P162c 6.5 coaxials in rear doors
Autotek Mean Machine 12" MX12 sub in a lot load box
PPI PC450 Amp on door speakers (Old School, but still rocks)
Autotek Stealth 500 amp on Sub

LOL.........The Door speakers are visible in the door card. I actually cut the door card to fit it all, and placed the crossover as a brace for the speaker. It is hard to explain, you would have to see it. I have had a lot of compliments over it even though it is thought of as Taboo in the Suby world.
