That sounds about like me... I've been debating on whether or not to start putting 87 in the tank. I just need to have the willpower to stay out of the boost.

Subarus ar great on the Highway at cruising speeds (no boost), but once you bring the boost on it all goes down hill from there.

The last time I checked the wagon, I was getting around 16 in the city, and 25-28ish on the highway.

That's pretty good. I don't think I've ever gotten more than 350 miles out of a tank on the highway... I barely get 300 commuting to Destin from Fort Walton Beach (A lot of sitting in traffic at times probably accounts for that).

Ok, so I went a little crazy the other day, and bought a couple more small RC cars and hop-ups.

I bought a Losi Micro T and a complete brushless motor setup and some Li-po battery packs. Then I bought Some spare parts, extended chassis, wheels, Upgraded CVD Axles, Shocks. Well then I found someone getting rid of a rolling chassis with spare bodies, and transmitters, batteries, and some other stuff that I bought. Before I knew it I am about $450 into these little things.......it's a sickness I tell you.

I should have everything delivered by the end of next week.

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...ageID=34723438

It looked good for about 20 minutes, and then I ran through a ton of mud on accident while going down scenic highway. aaaaaaaaah!

go figure.

edit: And congratulations on the GTO, those things are beautiful.

says the canadian with overspray on his car

For those of us who prefer to be subtle, the 3 foot ricer wing and hoodscoop just don't cut it.

Besides, I much prefer my V8 rumble

EDIT- oh yea, thanks KMFDM and Kurtis. I actually called and told Kurtis on the way home. Figured he should be the first to know since I always talked about it with him.

In any event, can't wait to see some pictures. Congrats on the data engineering job; guess that makes two of us there too

lol low blow haha

they are nice, and the engine bay is definitly good looking but to me the outside needed some flare. not the wing and hoodscoop but something more. i was in one and raced one and the are definitly nice and perform great, just the looks are a little too subtle

SWEET! Now buy some long tubes and get a tune. Lol, I have been shopping for some the last few days and can't decide what brand I want to go with. I think I will end up getting some and then driving to Pcola to get XXX to tune it.

I agree, besides, if you like the looks of most Subie cars, you should be very open minded.

Any of you guys live on Creigton?

o_O

I was driving to my folks house and I saw an 08' STI parked in the yard and what looked like a bugeye parked in the driveway with the hood open.

Both WRB.

If so you live about 2 minutes from me. My house is basically right behind yours.

I'd hadnt noticed you before.

If that is who I think it is, they aren't on this forum. I believe that particular Sti is the one that has neons and a few other "dumb" in my opinion mods.
