not on a Dyno Dynamics he won't. On pump gas 93 octane I'm guessing 385 and on race gas 455

What shops Dyno Dynamics? Some read different than others, if it's like the vishnu dyno then i'd say 325whp on 91 octane. don't think you said you were doing a race gas map yet.

I knew i shouldnt have but man **** was so fast!!!" swear on my life. THIS GUY IS A JOKER. GET MONEY UP FRONT. HAD TO PUT HIS LAST PAYMENT ON 4 OF HIS MOTHERS CREDIT CARDS. STEAR CLEAR!!!

For reference, I made 355 on 93 pump with a 30R. This was a dyno-dynamic.

indeed, not quite sure if that was an appropriate response, but if what you say is valid it could be useful information but may not be appropriate for this thread

Take it easy, that would be Ian at Harman Motive. Not everyone knows this is his username.

Poor judgement then. Dudes a paying customer so who cares. Besides, 90% of the folks on this forum don't get CC breathing it seems. I'm not surprised he did something as moronic as that. That'd have to be some pretty decent block-offs to hold that pressure I would think. Kinda' makes me wonder.

To the original thread topic, I bet about 370whp pump, 300ft lbs. You've got the better cyl heads out there.

Sorry for the lack of clarification. He did pay a few months ago for a basic flash and some fabrication we did to his car. HOWEVER he has had an opened balance with us for 3+ MONTHS now. I wasnt trying to crack on his money troubles, just the fact that there is something very fishy with this guy. Not only has he burned a bridge with us, but has with at least 2 other VERY reputable SoCal shops. Im just giving fair warning to those who he will try to victimize next.

Yes i do work at Harman Motive, but on a personal note, i stayed late working on his car... had long advising phone calls after-hours to help him figure out his best route, was very nice and cordial at every encounter, helped him trouble shoot his car time and time again as he put things on wrong... etc. What pisses me off is that after this... and after admitting to me both online and over the phone that it was his fault... he comes on-line and tries to get sympathy and tries to bash us. One can hopefully understand why i would take this personally and offensively.

Ian,

Go kick his ass or something. But seriously, AFAIK, you guys have a good rep in the tuning world, don't want to ruin that Although, I do understand where you're coming from. I had a guy do that to me last year and really burned me, although I never stated publicly.

It's cool man, we'll move on.

yeah, nasif likes to make wild claims and acts like he knows his stuff(very evident in his posts). I commend him, however, for being the few to blow a jdm sti motor within a few weeks of running it

First of all I'm not just blaming this blown motor on Dan...It can't be anyone elses fault but the tuners. If u tell ur customer that U "Road Tuned" their car, then how is not ok to drive around on? Dan never once told me that the car was too dangerous to drive.. how the heck am i suppose to get around traffic without boosting even a little bit with a laggy Gt35R on a 2.0? If the car wasn't safe to drive then Dan shouldn't of let me take it home. And why should I have to pay u a measly $37.00 that ur saying is 3 months past after u were the cause of my blown engine?

I'm sorry but U just don't dial someones injectors in and make the car idle knowing how agressive the timing is on a JDM ECU and just let me take it home and say " we need to put it on the dyno, but I road tuned it" The dyno doesn't tune the car for u, it just reads numbers. And for the record Dan..U didn't Raod Tune my car...U caused a blown engine...

Everyone I have talked with that's been to Harman says Dan is a jerk and is money hungry...it's like once he gets his money he doesn't know u anymore.

Next time if u think its even 10% unsafe to let the customer drive his car home, u should let him call for a ride...rather then letting his over $15,00 motor go to crap.

Best Regards,
Nasif Samhat

umm staying out of boost on with a gt35 on a 2.0 should be simple
if that is what he told you to do maybe you should have done it?
its not likely the turbo spools before 4000 rpm
