Default hood dents..

In the instruction manual it states to let the hood drop to close it as opposed to pushing it shut. A service tech pushed down on it at some point and what do ya know, theres small indents. I can't go after anyone for this as they're sick of honoring my warrentee, but is there anyway to pop these shallow dents out of the front of the hood? pop a dent maybe? or just wack the underside of the hood? suggestions?

paintless dent removal may work

but the hood is a tricky animal.

especially if it is a wrx/sti with the lightweight hood.....

i'd get an estimate for paintless dent removal and see what they say

.....unless a body shop or detailer also offers in-house PDR, you would be better off seeking the advice/services of a PDR specialist (as Jamie pointed out).

By the way, dents caused by a technician should have nothing to do with the warranty. It's damage caused by the shop/dealership and they would bear the liability on this one. However, unless you bring something like that to their attention right away, I doubt you will have much of a chance in getting them to take care of it.
