Default Din Pocket - Flip down Lid - Silver - Genuine Subaru Part

Hey guys, I have a DIN pocket for sale. I bought if off another member on here. Thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1002842

Unfortunately it doesn't fit my car without some hacking/modification to the radio/hvac bezel. Also, the mounting holes are off so I can't mount it to the stock radio bracket.

So I'm selling it for the price I got it for, $17 shipped/picked up. It's in the same condition as I recieved it. I didn't do nothing to it.

Whoever sends payment first takes it. Here's a pic I took...

I prefer PAYPAL, verified/confirmed ONLY!

This won't fit on any impreza radio bracket but... that's what a drill is for.

FYI (for any potential buyers), I put this pocket in my 02 WRX without much trouble. The holes don't line up but it was easy to drill two new holes in the radio mounting bracket. Color is almost identical to the stock surround, looks really nice. You could probably just glue it in place as well.

Another FYI, to the seller as well. This is the Forester Din. I have it on my 05 WRX which is the same dash as the 06. It WILL fit. you just have to use drill holes for it to line up to the bracket. there is 0 modification to the actual dashboard.

all it takes is 2 holes drilled on each side, even just one if you do it right. There is no harm in drilling in the bracket anyway, its not like its visible. I ended up drilling holes for the pocket "nubs" (see black arrow in pic below). However, my holes werent small enough, so my pocket kept moving around in the dash. So i drilled a hole in the actual din pocket only on the right side(the left side cant be drilled because of the moving parts for the door). the hole i drilled lined up with the front most hole on the bracket. see the red arrow below.

Great info guys, thank you. Unfortunately I didn't put much time into installing this DIN pocket. I tried installing it using tape and for some reason it didn't sit flush so I just gave up.

I'm happy with my oem subaru blocking plate.

Waiting for payment from smosh.
