howdy.

last weekend i got hold of a 2002 wrx wagon-- a gift to myself for making it through college at UCSB. in august i'm moving out to SLC to start grad school at the U. just thought i'd say hello, see what y'all are up to out there.

how's the snow?! i guess i'm gonna miss this balmy santa barbara weather . . .

BTW, you'll love the snow here. You'll become spoiled like most of us here and only go up on powder days

^^^yes, I admit it, sometimes unless there's almost an avalanche danger up top I won't even bother going to the hill because I want the powder to be atleast knee deep

I really gotta stop that.

Utah can get some pretty warm days though, maybe thats just the opinion of a yeti like me who's been here all this life

so, bein raised in the central valley in California, then goin to school on the beach, i haven't had too much exposure to snow. well, virtually none, aside from the rare weekend excursion up to the mountains to screw around... any suggestions for m/s tires, other tips for lookin after my car in the snow? any help would be appreciated...

No need to worry about snow tires till about Oct. at earliest. And when every you can get the chance, rinse the salt off it from the roads.
