going for my turbo upgrade need some advice please

hey guys i have a 2005 wrx with big tmic, utec, uppie, dp, catless turbo back and boost controller... and sitting in my room are modded injectors and fuel pump...

now im interested in a big 16g... but i have come across a momentum 40t...

What are the diffrences between them both?

what kind of power would i be looking out of them both?

goals wise, im looking to run high 11 sec or flat 12 sec on the 1/4 mile... what are suggestions for me to get to that path... i dont really mind too much high end speed... i guess you guyz should know i dont throw a stomping on my car i rarely launch it i can count the amount of times i've done so... i've been to the track 2 times and did a total of 6 runs...i also dont like to downshift hard.. i try to baby her as much as i can..

i ran 13.9 untuned with 16psi and race gas and bad sparkplugs...

that about sums it up to where im at what do i need to do to achieve those goals?

neither the 40t or the big 16g are gonna get you close to 11's. Go for the 18g or a green if you are gonna drag race. The other two would get you closer to mid 12's.

Stay away from the 40T. The company just went under and they have had a lot of issues w/ faulty turbos.

Like he said, you wont be hitting 11's w/ the 16G, 40T or VF34 (what i have). Go for a 18G or bigger.
