as for painting it i would love to but there is no way i would be able to match 14 year old silver paint haha

That link doesn't work for me.....

I agree. I have seen people put STI scoops on their BCs, but it just doesn't look right. This, OTOH, looks like it's supposed to be there.

I have my eye on a cheap one on eBay right now, so I hope I get it.

It does look nice, but it would look even better with paint.

A good body shop / paint supply shop should be able to mix you some "aged look" paint. This is a pretty common thing to do. It might not be a perfect match, but they can get very close.

My stock scoop is already flat black, so nobody would probably notice when I paint the new one black....

thats true but it would also be a little more then 4$ spray cans

ya i did
i actualy got that hood from picknpull for 25$ incase i messed up cutting it i would still have mine. i was shocked to see one the same colour.
and the stock bov sure sounds a lot louder after the coffee cup mod and haveing a hood with no liner on the inside
