Default Impala-Legacy B4 - Seperated at Birth?

Is it just me or do these cars look very similar? Especially with the spoiler?

I'd hunt up a picture of an Impala, but I'm lazy Someone else want to?

Uh, no.

Only in the area of the C-pillar. Otherwise, not even remotely.

Shhh Brat... the Hertz people might find out... hahahaha.

The look on their faces was priceless when I brought it back in on the donut though. They were like, "Have a nice day!" I'm amazed they didn't comment on the state of the tire though.

DISCLAIMER: Impalas are NOT suited for high speed runs in the twisties. I found that out after abruptly losing traction in a sweeper and making friends with a rock embankment. It only took about 30 minutes to remove the large rock that was stuck between the sidewall and the rim.... hehehehe.

The G'impala" should be so lucky! POS indeed! An insult to the name, and especially to the last real Impala, the "SS". That was an Impala!

Default I hate to say it

I can see some similarities in the overall massing. But luckily the details(nose length for instance) are different.

oh come on. the Impala is not THAT bad. It's perfect for the market it's aimed at: old people who remember the good'ole days when the Impala was a hot car. at NCSU's campus they have several Impala Police Models. I wonder if they have a V8 instead of the 3.8L V6?

Who you callin' old young fella!? I can remember when the Impala had bat wing shaped fins (yes fins) !!. And the SS was the last Impala with the V-8. The current model is a joke, just like the new "Monte', and for your info none of them appeal to this old "geezer"!

They both have 4 doors and 4 wheels but that's about it. I think the new impala and monte carlo are both real ugly!!! I love the 59 impala, the 63 and 64, oh and the 90's one. But the new one is a joke! Just using name recognition to sell crap that is aimed at a market who will by something with no soul.... Sorry, but I'm really upset with chevy for destroying a good name. It's like what dodge did with the daytona. Nothing on it was like the 60's muscle cars... Ford is finally reviving the spirit of the thunderbird... good for them!
