I have a 92 Legacy turbo with Ver.2 WRX intercooler and Apex-i AVC-R boost control. The turbo will hold up until 13.5psi you can't pass over it because the factory ecu will cut it off!!
I will put a 3" downpipe for my exhaust system this year since my stock exhaust least almost 204000km since year 1992.

Here's a thought, just sell your car and buy mine( http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum2/HTML/003924.html ). You can sell yours, buy mine, and still have money in your pocket! I'll even bring it down for you!

Seriously, RalliSpec in Cherry Hill makes a kick ass top mount intercooler for a good price. I'm sure they could set you up with the piping and everything. If I was keeping my car, I would probably sell my WRX intercooler and get theirs. Very nice indeed.

BTW, no reasonable offer refused for my car

Question

Matt are you selling the vr-4 too? I sold my vr-4 for some cash for the WRX.. man do I miss that vr-4. I guess driving a Sentra E (wife gets the Legacy) will have that effect on ya! Good luck on the Legacy sale. That looks like a fun ride.

Eric

92turbo, there's about 126,000 on it but it just recently had a leakdown test done and the average was only a bit over 4 percent for all four cylinders! So the motor is still in fantastic shape. I run about 11 or 12psi on the stock turbo.

Eric, actually I already sold the GVR4. It was a fantastic car but to be totally honest, I know the in's and out's of Subarus pretty well. The GVR4 was different from my Legacy( from a mechanical standpoint) in just about every way possible and I didn't want to have to "relearn" everything about a different brand. So it was my first and last non-Subaru. The car was a total blast though.

My Legacy really is a fun daily driver. I wish I could keep it for the other car in the household, but it just won't happen unfortunately. I'm hoping it goes in the next month or so.

Good luck with the WRX
