P & L Took my BABY!

went in for a tune today, and they found a TON of leaks

. guess that is bound to happen when you do all your installs with your brother in the driveway. anyway, long story short, they had to keep it overnight to get some work done so hopefully itll be ready to tune on friday.

i know its in the best hands around (P&L), but ive never had it in a shop before. feels weeeeird not to have it sitting right there in the driveway. anyone else feel that way?

btw, huge props go out to pinyo and jorge for takin care of things.

boost leaks.... sorry didnt clarify. they assured me it wasnt anything huge, but had to be taken care of.

I know how you feel... I had an exhaust leak last night when getting tuned at P&L. Turbo is spooling 1,000 RPM late!

I just found out for sure that at least one of the EWG gaskets blew out on the dyno.

*update*

major cause of boost loss? leaking blow-off valve. greddy type-s i believe. does anyone know if/what kind of blow-off valves P & L has in stock?

If they called and told you that...why didn't you ask them what they have in stock? lol

And I'd also recommend stock.

actually, i was in grad school at the time.. so they left a message. i was going to call them tomorrow to chat with them, but was curious as to what they had in stock.

*update* after basically everything going wrong (leaks, faulty BOV, broken o2 sensor, non-cooperating dyno, etc) I am finally tuned! we were at the shop with jorge till almost 1130, but as he put it "through hell or high water, it WILL be tuned!"

no numbers yet... but they are on the way!

one of many good experiences with P & L. Thanks to Sam, Rich, Pinyo, and Jorge for an excellent job.
