Default will an 05 sti front sway bar work on an 02 wrx crossmember?

just as the title says.....i had an 05 sti front sway bar given to me and i have an 02 wrx swap in my 99rs.....will it work on my car? I am a newb when it comes to suspension.

Not sure exactly, but the 05 sti front bar will work on an 02 wrx. They should be the same, not sure if they changed the width or not, but it will work.

Hmm... that's a tricky one... you have a turbo crossmember but 'GC' control arms and track? The fitment of the bar to the crossmember should be OK - but there maybe issues with the bar's length and hence the endlink fitment/angle... you might do better with a GG turbo wagon bar...?

I'm only speculating - likely someone in the 'Conversions' forum will know for sure. This thread explains some of the differences.

actually the crossmember came out of a 02 wrx wagon so the control arms are from a turbo model.....

absolutely wonderful....now another question not sure if you guys will know....it came with the bushings but since it's an STI bar i wasn't sure if the mounts for the bushings would work off my wrx ones....do i need to get STI ones to fit over the bushings? and if so where do i find them?
