Default FINALLY, got my kart running and.......

Skel, slammed it into a curb backwards @ 50 mph. What a jackass! It was run a total of 3 minutes!
It will be fixed for the next autocross. It only hurt the sprocket and chain. He is okay, I think. Keep in mind this an Emmick Sportsman class racing kart with a Yamaha KT100cc engine that will do @ 70 mph. He is really lucky the curb stopped him and not the tree he was sliding toward. I think it hurt his pride more than anything.

It's okay buddy, we still love you!

Default Chris finally got his kart running and......

While doing about 60mph I tapped the brakes to avoid some water. The psycho thing spun sideways and slide right towards the water (that was about ten feet out from the curb) When I hit the water The kart spun all the way around backwards. When I hit the curb the kart flew with all four tires in the air and they said I almost flew out of it, my left leg flew all crazy and they thought I broke it. I bounced 180 degrees and landed about four feet to the left of the curb. I have a big fu{kin bruise on my lower back/hip and a limp. I will be fixed by the next autocross. My pride was hurt, but we all drank two REALLY good margaritas at dinner and joked about it. Now all thats hurt is my ass.

sorry chris

p.s. How many times did you have to stop when you were running across the parking lot twards me?

Have a Nice Day?

Ouch! That's gotta sting.

Skel, hope you're not too sore to keep chasing the ladies. Are you going to be up for the Austin babes this weekend? Glad to hear you didn't flip it or worse.

Chris, you definitely need to bring that little screamer to the next race. Didn't even know you were getting one. Need any more people on your pit crew?

You are correct, however it was not planned so don't feel left out. Me and scott swapped all our fluids ( god that sounded bad ) And Chris' kart got there right when we were finishing. Sounded like a good idea at the time.
