Post Sideskirts

Has anyone ever tried to paint the sideskirts or the front and rear lip on a 97 GT? I'm thinking about painting mine, but I'm not sure if it's possible or if it looks good. If so could you post a pic. Help appreciated.

Boy, that never even crossed my mind. But if you go to the SPO Motorsports site and click on the Syms link, you'll see some stuff that REALLY looks good there that might help you.

I thought that some people had done that, but I couldn't tell you who. I know that the Impreza guys do that all the time, so it can be done. You just have to find someone to do it. Check a good local body shop. (If you do, let us know how much $$$).

I work for a body shop and all that would be need to do is some plastic primer and flex agent and the can be painted any color you want. At my shop I would most likely charge around $300.00 carry in. Mine on my 98GT Wagon are black and the car is black so its not as noticeable.
