Default Need pics of where the expansion valve is?

Anyone? I need a new one and it's starting to get hot.Any help

No pics, but it's inside the HVAC box with the evaporator. You have to remove the evaporator to access it. The manual says you have to remove the box from the car to get the evaporator out, but you don't. You can find the TSB thread in Maintenance regarding the updated thermoswitch and follow that procedure to remove the evaporator and expansion valve.
Of course the system has to be properly discharged before you can proceed, and then recharged afterward.
