Default Anyone use a leather steering wheel cover?

The kind that comes with the thread and needle and you stitch it on yourself. If anyone has one or knows a good place to get one let me know.

I have one.

I am gonig to get another though. My current one is kind of crappy and doesn't cover the full thickness of the wheel. I think I may just buy one of the pre formed ones.

I have a GT too I just want to protect the factory leather. Plus I want to thicken the grip a little.

HIHO, Try Kragen. The covers I've used for years are a "Superior" product I believe. They run $15-20, and if laced on correctly will last for 4-5 years.

Man. That sounds like something akin to putting the plastic covers over your couch...

I put a leather cover on my wife's Integra. Got it at Target (pronounced: Tar - zhà ) for about $15. It was a pretty tight fit on that wheel -- I would really doubt that it would fit over the already large and grippy GT wheel. YMMV.

I had a Wheelskin cover, in my 4Runner. I liked it a lot:

Yeah I know my wife said the same thing, but I got my wallet caught on it the other day and it scratched it. It is nothing major I am just really anal about my car. Check out the site that gavin gave it has some sweet covers. Two tone steering wheel covers and shift boots.

Yeah, the two tone euroskin is a really nice cover. I had the black/blue one in my 4runner.

Nice and thick and comfy.

Question

Really? The only part of the WRX wheel that I liked was the MOMO badge in the center. Otherwise, I thought the feel of the GT's wheel was much nicer.

Perhaps I just need more seat time in a WRX...
